About the artist
An artist in evolution. Portraits, color and sculpture made in Hermosillo.
I'm Danna, a visual artist from Hermosillo, Sonora. It all started with a pencil and an obsession: faces. Eyes that say more than they mean to, tears nobody shows, that emotion that shows up for a second and then it's gone.
In time, graphite fell short and color arrived: colored pencil, pastel, marker, oil. Then I wanted to feel the work with my hands, so I got into clay, plaster and cement. One of my torsos took me six months from start to finish, and every day was worth it.
My work goes from the most fiery red to the most acid green. I paint anxiety, melancholy, pride and tenderness head-on, with no filters. Among my muses is Nathy Peluso, to whom I dedicated "La Sandunguera".
I have exhibited at Bicentenario Open Art 2026 at Plaza Bicentenario in Hermosillo, at Vértice Club de Arte and at the Catrina Festival 2024, and I have painted murals together with other artists.
I consider myself an artist in evolution: every piece changes me a little. This space is for sharing that path, selling my original work, making commissioned portraits and opening the door to other artists who are growing too.
